With a population of over 85,000 residents, the Town of Cicero is the eleventh largest municipality in Illinois. Serving so many citizens every day requires processing and archiving hundreds of documents. This constant influx of documentation can stretch public servants thin, and town officials made the decision to find a document management solution that could overcome the boxes and boxes of paper records that they were always facing.
After learning about Contentverse from a fellow community’s own experience, they fell in love with the solution and began looking into implementing it in their offices. With the help of Computhink’s support team, the town installed Contentverse in 2007.
Almost sixteen years later, they continue to leverage the solution constantly for managing contracts and vendor history searches. Contentverse increases the Town’s efficiency, making finding and retrieving documents a smooth and easy process from a centralized document repository. It also greatly reduces the amount of time spent searching for specific items within compound documents by utilizing metadata tags and indexing. “Time-saving!” is the team’s emphatic review. In addition to Cicero’s Town hall, adoption has expanded to their police department. Users in this department have found the solution to be especially beneficial in the subpoena process.
As a longstanding customer, the Town of Cicero couldn’t be happier with Contentverse.
